Ameublement A.Denis & fils
1928
Being in business for over 90 years is an achievement few companies can boast of. However, this is the case for A.Denis & Sons Furnishings, which has been serving its vast clientele since 1928.
Mr. Anatole Denis is credited with founding the business. At the time, the entrepreneur operated a general store from the family home, located directly in front of the current store. As he was the first to sell furniture in the region, it can be said that A.Denis & Sons Furnishings played a pioneering role in this sector.
1972
Thriving Business
Mr. Anatole Denis had a knack for recognizing opportunities. He quickly understood that he could contribute to the region's economic development by investing in real estate and embarking on commercial projects that matched his ambitions. With the aim of better serving the flourishing clientele, he began construction on a new building that would house the business as we know it today.
1984
Passing the Torch
As the family business thrived, Mr. Anatole Denis could rely on the help of his sons Yvan and Constant, who learned the ropes of the trade from a young age. After climbing the ranks, Mr. Yvan Denis became the sole owner of the business in 1984.

Generations
The family tradition of A.Denis & Sons Furnishings is not about to fade away. In 1994, Mr. Dominic Denis, son of Mr. Yvan Denis, began a career within the family business, following in the footsteps of his predecessors. Now at the helm of the company, Mr. Dominic Denis represents the third generation to assume this role and aspires to perpetuate the same tradition of excellence that has made A.Denis & Sons Furnishings a leader in the field.

Québécois Vision
Mr. Dominic Denis had a clear vision of the direction he wanted to take by acquiring the reins of the business. It was essential for him to convey his passion for Quebec and Canadian furniture design and to support the local economy. Over the years, he gradually shifted away from foreign suppliers to become predominantly a distributor of Quebec and Canadian-made products.

Paying Tribute
When it came time to modernize the company's brand image, Mr. Dominic Denis, a trained interior designer, spared no detail. He had the thoughtful idea of incorporating his grandfather's initial, the founder of the company, into the new company logo. The "A" found in the logo today is exactly as Mr. Anatole Denis used to sign it by hand. A beautiful way to pay tribute to him!

In Tune with the Times
Business is booming, and the company continues to make its mark and thrive. At a time when everything is virtualized, furnishings seem to be one of the last areas where customers still want to touch and see before making a purchase. In order to enhance the customer experience, major renovations have been carried out throughout the store, especially in the appliance gallery, which has been completely redesigned and transformed.
